2009 will be a very important and busy year for the New Jersey punk institution THE BOUNCING SOULS. The band celebrates 20 years of pulsating, funny and honest Punk Rock with exclusive surprise for old and new fans. Even though it might be true that the music industry has gotten somewhat dusty in the past 20 years, THE BOUNCING SOULS opted for stirring up that dust firmly. It’s been 16 years since the first album has been released on the own label Chunksaah records. True to the Do-it-yourself spirit of the early days, THE BOUNCING SOULD is going to release a new song in every month of 2009; of course on Chunksaah Records. First the song will be released each month as digital download and all three months as 7” vinyl for fans and collectors.Besides new music you can get limited merchandizing of the band each month through the Chunksaah store and of course, THE BOUNCING SOULS will bring their legendary live shows over to us for their 20th anniversary.
