Some very interesting NEMESEA news reached us recently:A few weeks ago we were asked by two students from music and technology (HKU, Utrecht - Holland) to play a show in surround 7.0. It will be their graduation project that will be under supervision of Ronald Prent (Rammstein, Simple minds, NEMESEA!!). Ronald Prent will support students Djuri Boot en Dave Schinkel with the project because he is THE master at mixing albums in surround (he also mixed our album In Control in surround). Ronald has some good ideas about mixing a band live in surround. He pointed out that Nemesea would be THE band to work with. WAUW! Surround 7.0 is very unique....it has never been done live before! So we will be pioneers AGAIN!
But that's not all! The show will take place here in Holland in Purmerend, P3. Dates of the show will be 2 and 3 July. And....for those of you who won't be able to be there, in the front row yelling, there will be recordings of the show so hopefully there will also be a DVD afterwards.
And still that's not all! We are working on new songs at the moment and let me tell you this.... HJ is kicking some ass!!! He wrote some really great songs allready. So you can probably check out some of this new stuff live in July! Maybe even better is that we are also thinking about releasing one of those new songs a few weeks after the show as a single. Live version first, followed by a studio version. Ain't that cool? ;-) Ticket sale will start in a few weeks. We’ll keep you updated of course!
