From April 28 to May 26, 2009, Depeche Mode is inviting all DJs and aspiring producers out there to remix the band's new single "Peace", taken from their new album "Sounds of the Universe". The winning remix will be released on Beatport.com through Mute Records. The grand prize winner will also win a Jazzmutant Lemur multitouch controller, Native Instrument's Maschine groove production studio, a Pacemaker portable DJ system, V-Moda headphones and a $250 Beatport gift card. Strangely enough, Beatport never carried any Depeche Mode release in the past, nor does it now except for this remixkit.
