TRASHMONKEYS - New single ‘Leaving Home’

The TRASMONKEYS will be releasing their new single ‘Leaving Home’ from the album ‘Smile’ on 5th June 2009. The 5 lads from Bremen, Cologne, Hamburg, and Lancaster are back again and better than ever. Tatty jeans, a decent leather jacket, fucked up chucks, and the wide-open garage. Here are the TRASHMONKEYS and they’re ‘Leaving Home’. The second single ‘Leaving Home’ from the current album ‘Smile’ doesn’t even ask to let it in. The organ wails, the guitars shred and the rhythm section pumps + a chorus and a hook line that’ll be with you all day. That’s the definition of ‘cocky’ which the ‘Beat’ inventors in the working class districts of London and the garages of Detroit had in mind.
