Swedish power metal gods NOCTURNAL RITES just posted a video introducing their new guitarist Chris Rörland. Thus, the band has finally found a replacement for guitarist Nils Norberg who left in 2008. Axe man Fredrik Mannberg comments on the new band member: "It feels great to have Chris in the band. He's a really, really nice guy. We're very happy to have found this guy very close to our hometown. With this newfound power NOCTURNAL RITES continue with full speed on writing new material for the follow up to 2007’s “The 8th Sin”. "We have some really dark and aggressive stuff written as well as some more melodic tunes, so this new album will definitely cater to all aspects of the NOCTURNAL RITES legacy! It sounds a little like we're going back in time, mixed with trademark NOCTURNAL RITES catchy melodies.”
