Good news for fans of MASSIVE ATTACK: Five years after their last musical sign of life, the musicians around Robert Del Naja and Daddy G. lately returned with their EP ‘Ritual Spirits’. On this EP, you’ll even find a song together with MASSIVE ATTACK old hand TRICKY, who even joined the band on stage during a sold-out show in Berlin earlier this year. But not only the song with TRICKY, but all four songs of the EP are a shot in the bull’s eye.
MASSIVE ATTACK already proved with their shows in February 2016 that they manage the balance between their pop-musical significance and their every-time relevance. Bubbling basses, spherical elements, exact timing of the beats, sense for gripping voices and topics, the political backbone… it is all still there. With an always topical light show, the project underlined their shows. Now, there is a final good message: MASSIVE ATTACK obviously want more and will play on three selected locations in summer.
