Let‘s make it short: SEEED are back! Yes, exactly - those ten musicians who have conquered Berlin and then the rest of this country, Europe and even South America in the last 20 years with four albums, their very own sound and incredible live shows. SEEED are internationally known for their concentrated energy, euphoria and explosion of mood on stage. But what is so special about the band? Probably the successful mix of Dancehall, Reggae, Dub Ska and Hip Hop, with which SEEED has put other bands from similar musical backgrounds in their place in recent years.
After their debut album, ‘New Dubby Conquerors’, caused a sensation in 2001 and gave the Berliners two echoes as “Best National Newcomer” and the “Berlin Newcomer Award”, SEEED with ‘Music Monks’ (2003), ‘Next!’ (2005) and ‘SEEED’ (2012) have further developed their independent reggae sound. SEEED can look back on numerous tours at home and abroad, among others also in South Africa, France, and South America and with co-operations with Jamaican artists. As an excellent live band, they have constantly expanded their international fan base. One of the band‘s highlights was certainly the three successive, sold out open air concerts in Berlin‘s Wuhlheide 2013. After extensive tours, legendary festival appearances and their own open airs, the band took a break from 2016.
But now there is fantastic news: SEEED have been working on new songs and are going on a big tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg starting in October 2019.
