Telekom Street Gigs with Placebo
In the year 2007, Telekom gave birth to a very special concert series, the Telekom Street Gigs, where, different to known concerts, selected artists perform at special and extraordinary locations, might it be a cinema, a leisure park or a ferry. Furthermore, tickets for those special concerts cannot be bought they can only be won via Telekom, where you have to apply and then you only need some luck to be in.
Now, Telekom Street Gigs announced another special concert: on 26th November 2013, no one else but PLACEBO will perform at the historic Zeche Zollverein (mine Zollverein) in Essen. The British band around charismatic singer Brian Molko just has released their seventh album ‘Loud Like Love’, entering German album charts on position three at once. In November, the band will be touring Germany, but a location like the mine in Essen is surely unique and promises a very special concert.
