Sepultura - “Machine Messiah Tour” Europe 2018 - Special Guests: Ketzer, Spoil Engine
The Brazilian Thrash Metal legends SEPULTURA have decided to throw in a few club shows between their festival appearances this summer at Wacken, Summer Breeze, or Reload. One of these gigs leads them thankfully enough to the wonderful zakk venue in Düsseldorf, which all but guarantees you a close-up and pleasant concert experience.
SEPULTURA have formed back in 1984 in Belo Horizonte and started to conquer the world of Thrash Metal from there. And make no mistake: no record collection from that genre is complete without the two legendary works ‘Chaos AD’ (1993) and ‘Roots’ (1996). Despite the departure of band founder and singer Max Cavalera in 1997, the band carried on and auditioned for a new singer, which they found in Derrick Green. In 2006 with drummer Igor Cavalera, the last founding member of the band left the band. Once again, the remaining band members kept soldiering on, and continue to tour and work on new albums. In January 2017 they released their most recent (and 14th) album called ‘Machine Messiah’, which manifested that SEPULTURA is far from over, even after more than three decades of existence.
