scorpions tour2023Attemtion: Arena concerts in Germany postponed to 2023 - Frankfurt show is moved to Mannheim - Tickets already purchased remain valid!

With a heavy heart we have to announce that due to the ongoing pandemic and the associated planning uncertainty, all German dates of the “Rock Believer” tour will unfortunately be postponed to May / June 2023. As tour organizers, Wizard Promotion shares the disappointment and frustration of all fans in Germany, but unfortunately, they see no way of bypassing this decision. The concert in Frankfurt will be moved to the SAP Arena in Mannheim after there were no suitable dates available in Frankfurt for the new tour period. Admission tickets already purchased in advance remain valid for the new dates. Ticket holders for the concert in Frankfurt will be informed separately.

The new album ‘Rock Believer’ was released on February 25th and, with an outstanding chart success, proves the legend status and the compelling relevance of Germany’s greatest Rock band of all time.

“As much as we all hoped to celebrate the return of the biggest German Rock band to the domestic stages this spring, unfortunately we have no choice but to postpone the “Rock Believer” tour in Germany to 2023. The existing planning uncertainty makes it impossible to carry out an arena tour, which has to be planned well in advance with such immense logistical effort. While many are hoping for March 20th, we bear responsibility for the hundreds of people who work passionately to make Rock production of this scale possible. It is not right at the moment and the current situation is too unstable. We hope for the understanding of the fans and firmly believe in a great tour without ifs and buts in 2023!” - Ossy Hoppe, Wizard Promotions.

The “Rock Believer World Tour” kicks off in Las Vegas, where the band will be performing as part of their residency at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino from March 26th to April 16th, 2022. Next year the SCORPIONS will finally return to the German stages back.

The Rock icons are back with a new album and a world tour! In February 2022, the SCORPIONS will release their 19th studio album ‘Rock Believer‘ and will then present the new work live around the globe. The SCORPIONS were in the studio at their home base in Hanover during the lockdown, working on new songs. For the first time ex-MÖTORHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee is there and completes the legendary SCORPIONS Hard Rock sound!

“The album has the SCORPIONS DNA, the core is formed by the Schenker / Meine compositions”, says front man Klaus Meine and explains why the new songs have the freshness and power of the 80s SCORPIONS albums: “As a band, we all played together in one room and recorded the songs - just like we did back in the 80s. We can’t wait to get started again to finally play for our fans again.” The sound has an energy and uncompromising quality, like an adrenaline rush, and leaves no doubt as to the power the Rock legends will deliver live.

‘Rock Believer‘ will be released on February 11, 2022, and the new single ‘Peacemaker‘ will be released at the end of October 2021. 2022 is a very special year, because exactly 50 years earlier, on January 22nd, 1972, the SCORPIONS released their spectacular debut and started their international career. This is also celebrated live:

With the ‘Rock Believer World Tour‘, the SCORPIONS will finally return to the stage next year. The world tour kick-off is in Las Vegas, where the band will be performing as part of their residency at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino from March 26th to April 16th, 2022. Afterwards they will cross the Atlantic to Europe, where they will play in the Accor Arena in Paris - one of the largest halls on the continent - and in nine other European countries, including six shows in Germany. “During the album recordings we had so much energy and fun - and we want to take this power with us on our concert tour”, says Matthias Jabs and Klaus Meine explains: “We have never had such a long break from the tour as we do now during the Pandemic. That of course increased the appetite, so that we are now looking forward to the start of the tour.”

SCORPIONS founder and guitarist Rudolf Schenker: “The prospect of rocking with my bandmates in front of hundreds of thousands of fans next year and being able to present our new album to them already gives me goose bumps. This album and the upcoming world tour will also be something very special in our career.”

The SCORPIONS belong to the most important Rock bands of the last decades. To date, the SCORPIONS have sold over 120 million records, played over 5,000 concerts and created a timeless classic with their legendary single ‘Wind Of Change‘, which has dominated the charts around the world. Countless awards followed, a star on the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame and other hits such as ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane‘, ‘Still Loving You‘ and many more. Their previous successes impressively underline the influence the SCORPIONS have in the Rock world. The German tour is supported by Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the legendary Eddie Van Halen with his band MAMMOTH WVH.
