robbie williams live2025“For the next two hours, your ass is mine!” There aren’t many Pop stars who can get away with starting a concert like that. Perhaps only one: ROBBIE WILLIAMS. Once the rebel, then the dropout from TAKE THAT, not even his former bandmates would have bet that Robbie’s solo career would eventually outshine all theirs. Yet that’s exactly what happened: Williams gave the world, often with the support of songwriter and producer Guy Chambers, anthems like ‘Angels’ (which Taylor Swift covered alongside him as a special guest at one of her UK shows), lively pop hits like ‘Feel’, quirky tracks like ‘Rock DJ’, his Britpop-inspired rallying cry ‘Let Me Entertain You’, and classy swing covers like ‘Something Stupid’ alongside Nicole Kidman.

But it wasn’t just the songs that made him one of Europe’s biggest pop stars over the past two decades. ROBBIE WILLIAMS is a born entertainer who can send tens of thousands into a frenzy. His achievements are still astounding: over 85 million albums sold worldwide, 14 UK number-one albums (the most for a solo artist), seven number-one singles, the most concert tickets sold in a single day (1.6 million on November 19, 2005), three record-breaking nights at Knebworth in 2003 with 375,000 fans, and enormous success with his swing albums. When he decided to reunite with TAKE THAT in 2010, the comeback album ‘Progress’ became the fastest-selling album of the 21st century, and the following tour set the record as the highest-grossing British tour of all time.

The ROBBIE WILLIAMS phenomenon never truly stopped, and it’s now gearing up for an exciting new chapter. Following last year’s four-part Netflix documentary ROBBIE WILLIAMS by Joe Pearlman, an extraordinary biopic is set to hit theatres in early January. Directed by Michael Gracy (known for ‘The Greatest Showman’ in 2017), the film brings Williams’ wild life to the big screen in a way never seen before. Instead of being portrayed by a “regular” actor - who could even do that? - Williams is represented by a motion-capture animated chimpanzee. Williams’ voice explains this choice in the trailer: “I know, I know, what’s with the chimp? Well, I always just felt a bit... more primitive than others.”

Luckily, the renewed excitement for Robbie’s music, ignited by the film for hundreds of thousands of fans, will soon be celebrated in style on an extensive tour. Starting June 25, 2025, Williams will embark on a major Germany tour, bringing his charisma, hits, and legendary live energy to the country’s biggest stages.
