Legendary musician, producer and songwriter MIDGE URE returns with a major new solo statement. Titled ‘A Man Of Two Worlds’, the forthcoming release marks his first album of new material in twelve years and is set to arrive on 8 May via Chrysalis Records, Proper / Bertus.Best known as the creative force behind ULTRAVOX and VISAGE, Ure has long stood at the forefront of Synth-Pop and New Wave. With ‘A Man Of Two Worlds’, he now opens a new chapter - one that reflects both his legacy and his continued evolution as an artist.
Presented as a double album, the record showcases an expansive body of new work and will be available in multiple formats, including a deluxe 2CD A5 media book complete with booklet, as well as a 2LP edition featuring printed inner sleeves.
Alongside the album announcement, Ure has unveiled the second single, ‘The Man Who Stole Your Soul’, offering another glimpse into the sonic landscape of the forthcoming release.
With ‘A Man Of Two Worlds’, MIDGE URE bridges past and present, reaffirming his status as one of the defining voices in electronic music while continuing to explore new creative ground.
