Swedish Sci-Fi Synthpop trio VOGON POETRY return on June 5th with their new single ‘All Systems Red’. A powerful, energetic and highly melodic Synthpop anthem inspired by Martha Wells’ acclaimed book series ‘The Murderbot Diaries’. The track is co-written by Roger Tell (VOGON POETRY) and Peter Johansson (SCALA).Known for combining Electronic Pop with science fiction storytelling, VOGON POETRY once again step into a beloved universe. This time exploring the world of Murderbot: a rogue security android built for protection and violence, yet far more interested in avoiding human interaction and binge-watching entertainment feeds than behaving like the perfect machine.
Driven by pulsating synths, soaring melodies, explosive electronic energy and an infectious chorus, ‘All Systems Red’ captures both the tension and emotional core of the Murderbot universe. The track blends retro-futuristic atmosphere with the kind of euphoric momentum and cinematic feel that has become a trademark of the band’s sound.
Since forming in Gothenburg in 2012, VOGON POETRY have carved out a unique place within the Synthpop scene through their love of science fiction and emotionally charged electronic music. Their songs have previously drawn inspiration from worlds such as Douglas Adams’ ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’, ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Fallout’, ‘Firefly’ and ‘Alien’. Always wrapped in melodic hooks and shimmering synth landscapes.
