Adam Green

ADAM GREEN impressively returns in 2008. ‘Sixes & Sevens’ is the name of his new long-player. ‘Morning after Midnight’ is an irresistible catchy tune with charming winds sections.

With his new album ‘Sixes & Sevens’, ADAM GREEN manages to seamlessly link to his successful album ‘Gemstones’. The diverse work that ranges from soul-esque Motown sound, over artful indie to pop songs with Baccardi feeling, proves once more the ingenuity of the New York based musician. One time he acts like a lazy crooner, other times like a bombastic rocker but at the same time stays the funny entertainer and serious Singer/Songwriter. A that ADAM GREEN still stays true to himself, doesn’t take himself too seriously and still has enough edges to get excited by them or impinged on them at will. In any case, they’re gratefully contrasting him from the musical mainstream.

Last year, when anti-folk was quite popular again, ADAM GREEN went back to the roots as anti-folker in playing a successful solo tour, delivering us pure Green and gave the fans the opportunity to be the first ones to listen to songs from his new album ‘Sixes & Sevens’

With the album and a great band ADAM GREEN returns to German stages this summer for four additional concerts and one thing is already clear - It will be memorable evenings.
