‘Saengerkrieg’ is not only the title of the latest IN EXTREMO album; the word also describes the working process within the band: Fighting over the best ideas to bring on the highest quality of their music. The band members put all their power and passion into their work - with lots of success:
In May 2008 the album reached the top position of the German charts.

The seven musicians, well-known for fantastic, breath-taking life shows that lean towards the fascinating atmosphere of the Middle Ages, have always been able to enchant their audience by combining old instruments like bagpipes with modern guitars and crashing drums since1995. Now it´s time again to celebrate and to fight the ‘Saengerkrieg’ (War of Singers)! IN EXTREMO are going to play a concert in Offenbach on 14th of December 2008. The show will be supported by THE BLACK SHEEP.
