EMILIE AUTUMN – The Asylum Tour – The Key

The young artist is a real all-round talent: She learned to play the piano at the age of 4, founded her own music label at the age of 18 and published a collection of her poems in 2001. She even owns a fashion label. But besides those activities, EMILIE AUTUMN’s main focal point is on her music. Her concerts are always treats for ears and eyes.

The US-American violinist, who is supported by her “Bloody Crumpets” on stage, offers a breathtaking and stunning show full of gothic burlesque, eccentricity, drama and extraordinary music. Describing her style as “Victoriandustrial’, EMILIE AUTUMN creates an exciting fusion of industrial and classical sounds garnished with dark lyrics and her expressive voice, as shown on her recent albums ‘Opheliac’ and ‘Laced/Unlaced’. In 2009, EMILIE AUTUMN will come to Germany presenting “The Asylum Tour – The Key”. On this note: Welcome to EMILIE AUTUMN’s asylum at the Batschkapp on 12th April!
