SAGA formed in the year 1977 and from the very beginning there was something unique and distinctive about the sound they presented. They wouldn't have to wait long before first successes popped up with such grandiose albums as 'Images at Twilight' or 'Worlds Apart' storming and conquering radio charts world wide. With their by the time futuristic melange of classic , pop and rock elements to a truly epic sound, the band earned highest critical praise and the fan base continued growing year by year, especially in Germany after coming over there touring as support for the band STYX for the first time ever. After a period of dormancy the band celebrated a triumphant comeback with the release of their ninth album 'The Security of Illusion' in 1993'.
In 2010 and within their 33rd year of existence, the band is going to return to their German fans with a program that contains the best of their recorded material. This will become an event you surely wouldn't want to miss for the world.
