The Hooters
Way back at the start of the 1980s it was that the story of THE HOOTERS had its start. After a time filled with playing mostly local clubs which of course was to change with their debut album ‘Amore’ becoming such a success. Holding such early hits as ‘All You Zombies’ and ‘Hanging On A Heartbeat’ it was safe to say the band was tipped for it and the second album ‘Nervous Night’ becoming a million seller firmly underpinned that.
Even though success wasn’t the problem, even in later years, especially in Europe, the group slit up to pursue different projects. But the spirit was glowing still and in 2001 brought them back together and produced the first new album in a long time with ‘Time Stand Still’ in 2007 and a an EP’ 5x5’ followed in 2010. When returning to the live circuit it became obvious how passionate with what joy they’re still performing and of course they intend to get that spirit over to the audience at Zeche in Bochum.
