ORV is back with the new album 'Discontinued'. Here one might say that ORV simply goes on from where he started with the debut album. Sure, again 'Discontinued' offers a mixture of ballades and pop- and clubsongs, yet better than before. And by this it's proving what synthpop still can be: popsongstructures without having to curry favour with the mainstream or Zeitgeist. Popsongs that not only can be but also are allowed to be experimental, even sometimes not to care about popsongstructures at all. In some way a sort of melodic protest.
