FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, an Italian Death Metal band has released their fourth album ‘King’ back in February, mixing Death Metal with a spot of operatic splendour. Splendour, did I just say? The King has gone pedestrian; his stories seem to push themselves up on treadmill to horizons of going nowhere exciting, clocking at the office. Heard it all before, and tired still.
Conclusion: A solid in terms of production, very, very, very slightly enjoyable album and certainly not one that will stick itself firmly in the sea of music available these days.
