Straight out of England I present: CENSORED! What has the band to say? “The band was formed in 1997 by PC (guitar) and Big Al (vocals). Reformed in 2012 with Stephen Webb (bass) and Anthony Gate (drums). Influences Punk, metal, thrash, stoner, the band focus on heavy distorted riffing over an equally heavy and distorted rhythm section with lots of rapid fire double bass, all supported by the vocals of Big Al”
OK my turn: musically this is more on the rumbling, noisy side. Guitars and bass blasting ceaselessly while Big Al shouts his guts out. All in all it is not my cup of tea because of the following reasons: I don’t like Punk, Death or any other genre that lacks melodic vocals. I just cannot stand it. Don’t get me wrong these guys will find an audience but I will not be a part of it.
Conclusion: The only thing that put a smile on my face was the excellent taste in movies the guys obviously have when using a sample of one of the best movies ever made: Dredd.
