September 3rd 2005
Neck, Paradise Lost, In Extremo, Epica, Mostly Autumn, Nemesea, Xystus, Concubine
On a wonderful sunny day the main day of Huntenpop had arrived again. 5 tents were set up in the fields near Varsselder. Stands with drinks, food and many cd’s, t-shirts, jewellery and whatever band merchandise you would like to purchase and clean toilets were all there. Even free sunglasses were handed out to the first 1000 visitors, and you could do a good deed by signing up for Project Aware or see a play from Amnesty International.

Graspop Metal Meeting – 10th edition
Dessel – Belgium
25th June -Saterday day 2
25th June -Saterday day 2
In Flames, Sirenia, Samael, Amon Amarth, Kamelot, Gorefest, Epica, Soilwork
The second day of the festival was a killer in both ways: the line-up was better, but it started much too early. Broken from the day before with the long queue, the 24hours tent where many people made a nice party (when they didn’t lost their energy during Kreator) or the hot tent what maded that you couldn’t stand it after 9 am. Enough reasons to be tired, but there was no time for that. There was enough to do.

August 6th 2005
Zyklon, Suffocation, Dissection, Axel Rudi Pell, Holy Moses, Finntroll, Hammerfall, Kreator, Accept, Sentenced
The last day of this heavy festival. It was hard in many ways: struggling in the mud, rain and coldness. Sometimes tired or drunk. Short nights and long days, but the real metal head will survive. That is also the spirit of festivals: to share that feeling. Luckily the weather was better, so the good atmosphere came back. The sunshine was more then welcome. Also the coffee in the village was something who was very appreciated.

Kammgarn – Cotton Club, Kaiserslautern, Germany
2nd September 2005
Faun - Renaissance Tour 2005 & Gothic Slide Show
The beginning of the new season started with a “dark highlight” in the Cotton Club. Faun presented their new Album “Renaissance” and Thomas Adorff showed some of his Gothic Portraits before the show began. The small club was filled with a lot of Goth people in any age - from teens up to some pensioners. The mood in the club was filled with fantasy flair. The stage was spangled with some ivy branches and filled with dark blue and green lights.

Leaves' Eyes
In a city just some kilometres north of Amsterdam at one of those small summer festivals they had booked the German band Leaves' Eyes. Eventhough there are plenty of good Dutch gothic metal bands the organisation decided to pick Leaves' Eyes for their festival.
