Mono Inc. - Beach Chair Concert - “The Raven Flies Again” Tour 2020 - Support: Storm Seeker
The Dark Rock musicians MONO INC. from Hamburg returned for a special concert in Mönchengladbach / Germany. Instead of standing next to each other in a hall, now you could enjoy the concert comfortably in a beach basket. Lacrimas Profundere
Can you get an overdose of LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE? I can’t! After seeing nine shows during their tour with THE 69 EYES last fall, I was really thrilled when they announced a tour in Germany for 2020. Corona came and shattered everyone’s plans to pieces. Shows were postponed and postponed again and it wasn’t sure if they would play a live gig this year. The city of Munich organized events and live gigs called “Sommer in der Stadt” and gave the local clubs the opportunity to bring bands of their choices on stage. The city covers all the costs and so Backstage Munich and Target Concerts brought LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE on stage in Munich’s legendary Olympic stadium. This venue saw bands like KISS, METALLICA, RAMMSTEIN and many, many more. LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE sold out the show within one day.

VNV Nation - Beach Chair Concerts
VNV NATION really play again this summer! At last! No one really expected it due to the Covid-19 regulations. But there were two concerts in Mönchengladbach! Beach chairs were set up in the Sparkassenpark and you could listen to live music from VNV again. Never belonging to a particular musical genre, VNV NATION’s songs mix poetic and thought-provoking lyrics with a sound that ranges from melodic dance beats and indie electronic hymns to haunting ballads and post-classical soundtrack pieces. The live shows are legendary for their energy and positive emotions. Also, in the beach chair - also in Mönchengladbach!

Gentleman - Drive-In concert
Reggae also works in German. Yes, really. Relaxing vibes and grooving rhythms awaited the audience in Pétange on Saturday evening. Sounds weird, but somehow fits into the new concept of GENTLEMAN. The 45-year-old, who has been celebrating great success with his music for a quarter of a century, both in Germany and in Jamaica, the home of reggae, can also process everyday things, no matter in which language.

Dropkick Murphys - “Streaming Up From Boston”
Since the band’s foundation in 1996, the DROPKICK MURPHYS have played one or in recent years a few special shows on St. Patrick’s weekend in their hometown Boston. To be precise the band is from Quincy which is close to Boston. But in 2020 the DROPKICK MURPHYS had to cancel these shows due to the Corona virus. If you know the band, you probably have noticed their nearness to the audience and the fans. So, what to do in this situation? Yes, they streamed a live show on this year’s St. Patrick’s day, in a near to lock-downed Germany the stream went online on midnight on the band’s social media pages such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and more.
