Album Review
With their third release, the French FORETASTE are back to their familiar Synth Pop area. Or should I say Syrup-pop? What you get here is an overloaded CD with sugar and caramelised pop that will stuck to your throat. The name of the band stands as a caricature of Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot”. But unlike the brilliant play the foretaste here is just a prelude to a medical check-up. They have their good moments like let’s say ‘Automatic Love Response’ which has a bit of an edgy feeling but pretty much the rest of the songs should be played in the antechamber of a dentist to remind you that some kilos of sugar harm the teeth.
