Few bands have built as passionate a fanbase as DEFTONES - the Grammy-winning, multi-platinum collective from California has always stood for individuality, artistic integrity, and a sound aesthetic that defies categorisation.
Formed in 1988 by childhood friends in Sacramento, the band today looks back on a career boasting over 10 million records sold worldwide, more than 9.2 billion streams, and a catalogue of influential albums. These include the double US platinum-certified ‘White Pony’ (2000), ‘Diamond Eyes’ (platinum, 2010), ‘Koi No Yokan’ (2012), and ‘Ohms’ (2020), which again earned them a Top 5 spot on the Billboard 200 and No. 8 in Germany.
Also, part of the DEFTONES universe is “Dia De Los Deftones” - their self-curated day festival in San Diego, celebrating music and culture, now with six successful editions.
In 2025, the band will release their tenth studio album, ‘Private Music’, via Reprise / Warner Records - marking yet another milestone in a career that, after more than three decades, remains as relevant as ever.
