Hardly any other band has built such a passionate fanbase as DEFTONES - the Grammy-winning, multi-platinum-certified band created a culture of their own with their original sound.
In early 2026, DEFTONES returned to Germany with their current album ‘private music’. As early as February, they played five concerts in this country with special guests DENZEL CURRY and DRUG CHURCH - the shows in Munich, Berlin, and Dortmund were sold out. In August, there will be another special opportunity to experience the band live. On August 18, 2026, DEFTONES will perform open-air at the Parkbühne Wuhlheide in Berlin.
Founded in 1988 in Sacramento, DEFTONES look back today on a career with over 10 million records sold worldwide, more than 10 billion streams, and influential albums. Among them: the double US-platinum-certified, Grammy-winning ‘White Pony’ (2000), the likewise platinum-certified ‘Diamond Eyes’ (2010), ‘Koi No Yokan’ (2012), and ‘Ohms’ (2020), which earned them another Top 5 position on the Billboard 200 and Number 8 in Germany.
In August 2025, DEFTONES released their tenth studio album, ‘private music’, which climbed to Number 1 on the US Rock Charts and Number 5 on the German album charts. The album is nominated for “Best Rock Album” at the 2026 Grammy Awards. At the beginning of November, DEFTONES hosted their own festival, Dia De Los Deftones, for the sixth time.
But also, the support roster has packed a heavy punch. Formed in 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland, TURNSTILE has completely redefined modern Hardcore Punk. They are celebrated for breaking down rigid genre boundaries by blending aggressive, classic heavy hardcore riffs with infectious, melodic grooves, Alt-Rock, and even Pop sensibilities. Their 2021 album ‘Glow On’ launched them into massive mainstream critical acclaim, earning them multiple Grammy nominations and establishing them as one of the most energetic, visually captivating live acts in Rock music today.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, ECCA VANDAL is a powerhouse artist known for her explosive, genre-bending sound. Her music is a fierce sonic collision of Punk Rock, Hip-Hop, Electronic Beats, and Grunge. Born in South Africa to Sri Lankan parents before moving to Australia, her diverse background influences her eclectic style. Backed by a reputation for raw, high-intensity vocal performances and magnetic stage presence, she makes a perfectly volatile opening act for a heavy, atmospheric line-up.
