High Vis + Militarie Gun - “Germany Juli 2026 Tour”

When HIGH VIS and MILITARIE GUN hit the road together, it’s a collision of two distinct yet perfectly complementary worlds. HIGH VIS masterfully blend post-punk with everything from Britpop to Hardcore, while MILITARIE GUN channel a raw, emotionally charged Hardcore sound fuelled by themes of self-doubt and fresh starts.

Formed in London in 2016 by veterans of the UK Hardcore scene, HIGH VIS took their name from working-class high-visibility clothing. Seeking to break out of rigid genre boundaries, the band blended the aggression of street punk with jangly, melodic guitar work. Their 2019 debut album, ‘No Sense No Feeling’, established their signature “misery punk” sound.

They achieved a massive critical breakthrough with 2022s ‘Blending’, which incorporated the swagger, baggy grooves, and stadium atmospheres of mid-1990s Britpop and Manchester. Frontman Graham Sayle uses his distinctive Scouse accent to deliver socially conscious lyrics about working-class austerity. Backed by their third album, ‘Guided Tour’, their style fuses the raw energy of FUGAZI with the melodic, sprawling textures of THE STONE ROSES, THE CHAMELEONS, and THE CURE.

Across the Atlantic, MILITARIE GUN emerged from Los Angeles in 2020 as the brainchild of vocalist Ian Shelton, who was looking for a more melodic outlet than his previous power-violence projects. The band debuted with the EP ‘My Life Is Over’, followed by the multi-part ‘All Roads Lead to the Gun’. They quickly gained a reputation for combining propulsive hardcore rhythms with unstoppable pop hooks.

Their 2023 full-length debut, ‘Life Under the Gun’, and its follow-up, ‘God Save the Gun’, showcase a sound that is both competitive and deeply vulnerable, unpacking cycles of emotional hurt and self-doubt. Driven by Shelton’s distinct, throat-shredding roar, the band explicitly rejects Punk purism. Their unique Alternative Rock style draws equal inspiration from the abrasive, driving Post-Hardcore of FUGAZI and BLACK FLAG, the Indie-Rock songwriting of GUIDED BY VOICES, and the classic, massive melodic structures of THE BEATLES.

This July, both bands are heading to Germany for two exclusive co-headlining shows! It’s a rare pairing that promises an unforgettable live experience.
