Album Review
Here comes ‘Big Faint Lane’, the debut album of the German Wave / Independent band THIS DROWNING MAN. Harmonic, melancholic-pathetic sounds perfected by the pleasing voice of the singer charm the listener and remember to great bands of the 80ies like U2, THE CURE or JOY DIVISION. The songs on the album present an entity, but are anyway arranged differently, so it never gets boring listening to the album. Common to all songs is a morbid and fragile mood. Despite that, all songs are woven together by catchy vocal melodies. The album consists of ten songs and run all in all 47:29 minutes.
