Diary of Dreams & Slave Republic
Eden is no place. Eden is a machine - so it says in the beginning of the liner notes to the 13th album by DIARY OF DREAMS. If you thought you could grasp the lyrical contents of ‘hell in Eden’ with a quick glance, these words prove differently and offer a first taste of the actual scope. Musically, ‘hell in Eden’ is as energetic and monumental as no other DIARY album has ever been before, but at the same time, it is also warm, dark and fragile. Adrian already promised a lot about the tour in our latest interview and now we finally could experience the band during their tour. A full report of the Krefeld show will follow. For now, we have a lot of pictures from the gig in Hamburg for you.

White Lies & I Heart Sharks
With the debut album ‘To Lose My Life’ from the year 2009, reaching directly top position of British charts, and the more conceptual follower ‘Ritual’ (2013), being more inspired from the darker side and bands like ARCADE FIRE, INTERPOL or EDITORS, the London based Post Punk trip opens an extended room of sounds on ‘Big TV’.

Lene Lovich Band
The grand dame is getting old. She is nearly seventy now, but her presence is still undisputed. During her show in Oberhausen, she and her band were in best mood and she even could hold the high notes most of the time. Miss Lovich delivered all the good beloved songs. And even the crowd was quite manageable, anyone had fun and Lene said how much she loved it in Oberhausen. Please enjoy our pictures of the evening.

Kataklysm - “A Moment In Time: Shadows & Dust vs. Serenity in Fire” - 25th Anniversary Tour + Support Graveworm
KATAKLYSM has been around for 25 years now and the band is still as powerful as in the beginning of their career. A jubilee that is best enjoyed together with the band’s fans. This is exactly what KATAKLYSM is doing on tour. It was really packed in the Hellraiser Leipzig. No wonder since also the support GRAVEWORM certainly attracted many people. With the support band and KATAKLYSM’s two albums ‘Shadows & Dust’ and ‘Serenity in Fire’ played live this evening, the audience had a brilliant concert evening.

Eisbrecher, Unzucht
EISBRECHER released their new album ‘Sturmfahrt’ on 18th August via Sony Music. The album contains 1.5 years of hard work and the ex-ante single ‘Was ist hier los?’. ‘Sturmfahrt’ promises to be diverse with cracking Gothic Metal, steely riffs and dance-floor compatible beats, like on the title song of the album, as well as pure head bangers like the song ‘Der Wahnsinn’. As a special highlight, the album contains the cover version of the GRAUZONE NDW song ‘Eisbär’ and a re-adaptation of the classic ‘Das Boot’, written by Jazz legend Klaus Doldinger.
