During the pre-Christmas period the Finnish Rock/ Metal queen with the angel’s voice is coming to Germany for a Christmas Tour. The apprenticed Soprano singer, supported by an instrumental foursome, will perform songs from her upcoming Christmas album ‘Ave Maria En Plein Air’ (out in September on earMUSIC/ Edel) on five evenings mostly in German churches. The CD was recorded in a church in the Finnish town of Seinäjoki and is a wonderful contrast to her last rock/ metal album ‘Colours in the Dark’ (2013). Different renderings of the ‘Ave Maria’ will be part of TARJA TURUNEN’s programme, accompanied by cello, piano, violin and flute. Soft sounds and Tarja’s clear voice are definitely the perfect way to create the Christmas spirit this year!Tour Dates
