Important Autumn Moon update! Unfortunately, SÓLSTAFIR had to cancel their performance at the Autumn Moon short-term. With LORD OF THE LOST, the organizer found an adequate replacement for the Friday billing. When you bought your ticket just to see SÓLSTAFIR on Friday, return it or enjoy LORD OF THE LOST who jumped in short-term. Festival founder Dominik Wrehl, who is the driving force and soul of Autumn Moon, promises: “In 2019, we will party harder than ever before.”
Besides the picturesque landscape at the Weser Promenade in Hameln, the varied locations, the short ways, the family atmosphere, and the mystic and imaginative decoration of the site, the organisers impress with an exciting line-up mix and long play times for all the bands, so all of them get the chance to give their best performance and to create the right mood. This festival is a cultural music highlight for the Weserbergland region. The mixture of hall concerts, the public Halloween Market and the location at the river Weser with short ways to the legendary Pied Piper inner city is indeed absolutely unique.
At the huge and lovely decorated Halloween Market, which connects one concert venue with the other, spectacularly dressed music fans meet the artists, walking acts, bands, tourists, and thousands of Hameln families to celebrate a diverse, dark party. It’s a cultural meeting place with a creepy festival atmosphere, and there are large bonfires, beer to drink out of jugs, medievally inspired booths, excellent catering, and a medieval steam-punk-pirate romantic framed by the scenery of Hameln and the Weserpromenade.
