The E-TROPOLIS Festival 2026 is now completely sold out! On 28th March 2026, the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen will once again transform into a vibrant hub for electronic music, spanning Dark Electro, EBM, Industrial, and Synthpop.Among the headliners performing in just under three weeks are PROJECT PITCHFORK, COMBICHRIST (Oldschool-Set), and KITE - three names that represent distinct facets of the scene. For over three decades, PROJECT PITCHFORK have been defining figures of the Dark Electro genre, setting benchmarks with albums like ‘Alpha Omega’ and ‘Eon:Eon’. COMBICHRIST, with their exclusive Oldschool-Set, bring the raw energy of their early Aggrotech phase back to the stage, while Swedish duo KITE are renowned for their rich, atmospheric melodies and emotional Electropop.
The remaining acts also reflect the festival's stylistic breadth: FUNKER VOGT deliver powerful EBM beats with socially critical lyrics, NEUROTICFISH combine catchy Electro-Pop with a club-ready sound, and WELLE:ERDBALL bridge the gap between nostalgia and avant-garde with their Retro-Computer-Pop. FADERHEAD offers modern club sound with high-energy live performances, while NOISUF-X provides uncompromising industrial rhythms. The programme is further complemented by FIX8:SED8, ULTRA SUNN, SYNTH ATTACK, VANGUARD, AND ZWEITE JUGEND - a mix of established names and promising newcomers.
For over a decade, the E-TROPOLIS Festival has been a firm fixture in the European scene calendar and is considered a key gathering point for enthusiasts of electronic subcultures. In addition to the main concert programme, an official pre-party is scheduled for 27th March 2026 in Turbinenhalle 2.
