The organisers of the Highfield Festival have confirmed eight more acts for the music festival at Lake Störmthal in Großpösna near Leipzig. This year, the festival will take place from 13th to 16th August 2026 and will feature performances from acts such as KRAFTKLUB, SDP, BEATSTEAKS, 01099, MARTERIA, and BHZ. Updates on the fringe programme at the festival’s own beach will be announced shortly.
Newly confirmed is $OHO BANI, a rapper whose moral compass has led him from the underground straight to the top of the charts. The Berlin-based artist infuses his lyrics with strong beats and attitude - and is deservedly successful as a result. Many of these qualities also apply to DILLA, including a highly acclaimed collaboration with HERBERT GRÖNEMEYER. The artist boasts particular verve in her voice and expression, making her songs not only danceable but also profound - even without resorting to quiet moments.
‘Could it be that you’re stupid?’ DAS LUMPENPACK thought that, given the general state of the world, it’s perfectly acceptable to ask that question. The fact that their songs have been providing good answers to this and other questions for many years has earned the quintet, among other accolades, the German Cabaret Award, even though they are now also at home on large stages. LEVIN LIAM is a distinctive voice in the German music scene: The Hamburg-based musician, producer, and songwriter has created his own sonic universe and possesses the rare gift of capturing the ephemeral.
Also joining the line-up are MONTREAL, who combine punk rock with double-edged lyrics and have been a highly sought-after live band for over 20 years. ZSK also use punk rock as a form of protest - which seems to perfectly fit the zeitgeist, as their latest album shot into the top five of the album charts. ITCHY have also made it there, with equally good music and an unwavering commitment to democratic values. Furthermore, ANAÏS, a noteworthy voice in indie-pop, joins the Highfield line-up, and is a perfect fit for a summer by the lake.
Information and tickets, starting from 149 Euros, are available at www.highfield.de. The Highfield Festival is a collaborative event by FKP Scorpio and Semmel Concerts.
