It’s done, the second Zita Rock festival is history now, but what happened behind the walls of the citadel Spandau can only be described with one word: Phenomenal.
Already at noon, many of you followed the call of the citadel to celebrate with seven top acts of Folk, Industrial and Goth Rock at the best weather. From the rock fan from the neighbourhood to the fan club of UNHEILIG, who arrived with its own bus; especially for the Zita Rock, all in all 5.000 peaceful and excited fans gathered until evening in front of the big Open Air stage to contribute to the great atmosphere on the area.
So, our big thank you goes out to all those, who undertook the way to the citadel to make this gorgeous festival experience possible. With your great support, the Zita Rock, as the first Open Air festival of the independent music scene, found its place in Berlin. We believe, this has to be celebrated and what could be better than the…
III. ZITA ROCK & ZITA POP F ESTIVAL 2009!
From 13th to 14th June 2009 you’ll get the full package, again with a strong program, we’re already working on. Two festivals with the motto “Zita Rock & Zita Pop” with much lifeblood, but without any compromises! For all, who are curious now and who want to discover the Zita Rock & Zita Pop festivals next year, we have good news: The presale for the third Zita Rock & Zita Pop festivals 2009 already starts on 1st August 2008.
