The Swedish Hultsfredfestival 2010 is cancelled because of declining ticket sales and the company behind it, Rockparty, filed for bankruptcy. The festival, supposed to take place from 7th to 9th July, was to celebrate 25 years as a festival but late in the evening on Tuesday the 29 of June, the festival organisation Rockparty started to send out emails and inform people that the festival was cancelled. With only one week left until the festival was to start, the reaction all over Sweden has been filled with anger and disappointment.
