FINNTROLL already played a bunch of European summer festivals and it's just a few left. But for all of those who hate the sun, our Finnish Metal Marauders are proud to announce the next European headliner tour. On board are their buddies Samael from Switzerland, Rotting Christ from Greece, Metsatöll from Estonia and Nothnegal from the Maledives. That's what we call Pan-European! And you might be surprised that it's not a full Pagan metal line-up. But vocalist Vreth just recently explained in an interview:"Finntroll has never tried to be part of any particular scene, other than the metal scene. To put us under just Pagan Metal would be totally wrong, because of the numerous influences we have. Finntroll is basically a Black Metal band with influences from wherever you get inspiration." And that attitude fits perfect to Samael and Rotting Christ, who share a similar history of breaking rules and still be fucking METAL!
This is their second Europe tour in support of their highly acclaimed new slab of folk-rooted metal hymns entitled "Nifelvind" that is available since February 2010. And even the biggest UK newspaper The Sun said: "If Mordor had a premier comedy club, Finntroll would be the resident band."
