With a little over 2 weeks to go until the march of 12,000 metal lovin souls descend on the picturesque countryside of Derbyshire in the heart of England, we have one final addition to add to this year’s already epic line up. BLOODSTOCK can confirm the addition of OCTOBER FILE to the SOPHIE LANCASTER STAGE. Since 2004 OCTOBER FILE have made a name for themselves with their industrial punk-soaked metallic hardcore, earning rave reviews in the rock press and with celebrity fans such as Paul Raven and Jaz Coleman. Now they come to Bloodstock for the first time, a prospect bassplayer Steve Beatty relishes:“It’s great to finally play Bloodstock” says Steve. “ This has been on our wish list for rages. Every band we speak to that has played the festival say it’s the place to be. Looking forward to seeing quite a few of the bands playing over the three days and even better to see that our tour buddies Fear Factory are playing. No doubt many messy nights in Derbyshire are ahead”
MOVIE MADNESS ‘SUCKS’
For those of you who want to take it easy early afternoon in preparation for a night of headbanging METAL and partying to the early hours - Why not chill out and enjoy a movie in the Big Top - We’ll be showing ‘SUCK THE MOVIE’, A rock ‘n’ roll spoof about a down and out band who will do anything for a record deal. SUCK is a wild ride down a highway to hell with a killer soundtrack. Also showing over the weekend will be Alfred Hitchcock’s legendary masterpiece ‘PSYCHO’ ‘FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS and the tense psychological horror ‘PSYCH 9’

Come rain or shine there are few things more frustrating and cumbersome than trekking your weekend supplies from car park to campsite. Therefore this year FESTIBARROW come to the rescue with a lightweight wheelbarrow for hire to take all your gear from the car park to the campsite.

For those of you who want your festival tickets posting out to arrive in good time before the festival, make sure you Buy them by no later than 2nd August. For those who purchase tickets after this date they will be sent direct to the festival box office for you to collect on arrival. You will need to present proof of ticket purchase ie your printed email receipt from the Bloodstock store and some form of I.D ie drivers licence, utility bill or passport.
CAR PARKING PASSES will only be available to purchase from the Bloodstock website at £10 until 2nd August after which they will only be available to purchase from the car park entrance at £15 for the weekend. You will need to present your email confirmation from the Bloodstock store with proof of I.D ie drivers licence, utility bill, passport
