MEGADETH’s Dave Mustaine and EMI/Capitol created the ultimate MEGADETH Boxset ‘Warchest’ which was released on 12th October 2007

This Boxset includes more than 6 hours of digital re-mastered content, chosen by Mr. Mustaine himself, including 30 Audio & Video Tracks which have their world premier on this release + 3 new tracks that never were released in the USA before. ‘Warchest’ is the result of Montaine's and EMI/Capitols careful re-mastering and restoration campaign, which includes all Capitol studio albums and Audios and videos that complete the band's history.

‘Warchest’ is the ultimate MEGADETH Collection, completed with digital re-mastered album outtakes, soundtrack and compilation versions, unreleased live and studio recordings as well as interview clips from over 20 years of band history. The Box also includes a jewellery box, a 75 minute long live-set from the “Clash of the Titans” Tour in 1990 and a DVD with some highlights of a show from the year 1992, the year in which the album ‘Countdown to Extinction’ was released. 2 historical shows, that are about to be released for the first time. The cover of this box is a monition belt that shimmers in 3D.The Booklet has 36 pages and was refined with a text of Ian Christie, a detailed discography, completed with a large amount of pictures and photos.

Dave Mustaine says: “This is by far, the best and most lengthy look on everything about MEGADETH and a real crash-course in Heavy Metal. It was a real adrenaline kick to listen to this box with some of the most important shows as well as all line-up changes. I need to show this to my former band colleagues, no matter how hard the times were, the played brilliant without a doubt and without complains and I love every single moment of this collection.”
