Finland's NIGHTWISH, who recently parted ways with longtime frontwoman Tarja Turunen, have issued the following statement via their official web site:"Several [media outlets] have spread information about a new singer of NIGHTWISH but every single word has been a lie. We ask people not to believe everything that is told. We are not searching for a new singer yet and any kind of negotiations with any singer has NOT yet seen daylight."
As previously reported, Spinefarm Records has set a June 7, 2006 release date for the upcoming "End of an Era" CD/DVD release from NIGHTWISH. "End of an Era" will contain footage of NIGHTWISH's final concert with Turunen, which took place on October 21 at the Hartwall arena in Helsinki, Finland.

The new album supposed to be released in February, available as special and standard edition. Official title is "CORONER's SUN". The limited edition comes as a big A5-Digipak containing 2 discs, double-side poster, postcard, transparent sticker and a 32-page booklet. The standard edition comes as double de-luxe Digipak containing 2 discs and a double-side alternative poster.
Disc 1 includes new album’s songs, disc 2 includes versions, re-mixes and more from both the new album and "Invisible Front.2005" (made by :Wumpscut:, Siderartica, Punto Omega, Sensory Gate, Hipnosis Italy© and Kirlian Camera themselves). Standard edition comes out as a 8-panel deluxe Digipak and includes 2 CDs as well, so no jewel-box edition available, this time. Label: Trisol Music Group GmbH / Soulfood / Sony Music.

Hi everyone!
We are happy to announce that we will be back in the beautiful Netherlands again in January for some more live slaying!
We had a blast during the last shows in October so when we got approached by the Music Against Cancer festival with an offer to headline, we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to include a few more dates while at it.
Needless to say we are thrilled to finally hit the stage in Amsterdam! In fact we find it somehow strange that after doing more than 30 gigs through the country, this will actually be our first one ever in Amsterdam, and we could not ask for a more perfect frame for the debut!
This mini-tour also sees the band returning to the legendary Dynamo venue where we played way back in 1999 with Cradle of Filth and Biohazard among others, as a showcase before we entered the stage on the festival carrying the same name. To complete the weekend we have included gigs at Willemeen in Arnhem and at Baroeg in Rotterdam, a venue we have also visited in the past.
A sweaty and intimate atmosphere should be guaranteed for that one! Support on all the shows will come from the ass-kicking good lads of Xystus so make sure you leave the television watching to someone else this weekend and show up for a party of relentless dark metal!
