There might be a North American edition too, since Metropolis and Storming the Base say the single will hold the two "B-sides" "XRDS" and "The Island" (as well as three versions of "Ritual Noise" - "Edit", "Main Version", "Alpha Jet"). "Ritual Noise" is said to stylistically sound reminiscent of Covenant's seminal album "Sequencer" mixed with the top notch production of the latest album "Northern Light" (which was a bit too polished for some fans). The delayed "Skyshaper" has a fixed release date now: March 24.

A lot to report from the OL camp, besides the good news that there are massive activities from the band’s dedicated fanbase (for details read on!), the bad news to be spread is that keyboarder Eden Rabin left the band. Vocalist Kobi Farhi’s statement regarding the latter:
“Hi everyone, I wanted to update you that Eden Rabin (Keyboard) left the band, we are still friends and he had his own personal reasons to do it. We are looking forward and still working on new material and preparing for the tours and festivals of 2006.”
The good news is that the official fan club of ORPHANED LAND is now fully operational, Kobi has the detailed info: “Our official fan club (http://www.orphaned-disciples.com) built by fans is now launched! There is some rare material to be found there and two times a year an envelope with an ORPHANED LAND magazine and rarities will be sent out to the members!"
Cheers from the orphans!

After recording two albums in their native country Brazil the trio went back to Stage One Studios in Germany’s Bhne to work with Andy Claassen – a winning team very similar to the one that has already produced their 2000 classic “Conquerors Of Armageddon”.
“”AssassiNation” is the heaviest album we have ever done. I can assure you that it was a top quality recording at Stage One Studios, this album captures all the fury and brutality of the band's live performances and it’s also a great combination of heaviness and precision that we never had on our albums before. The album will be out in the beginning of 2006, and we're definitely gonna make a relentless round of live shows in Europe, so I see you all extreme metal maniacs on the road! Get ready for the “AssassiNation”!” Max and Krisiun.
