Long-time guitarist Patrick Schleitzer has decided to leave Heaven Shall Burn.
Alexander Dietz: “We’re sad to announce the departure of our guitarist and dear friend Patrick. Patrick has been a part of HSB for more than seven awesome years, he’ll always remain a member of the HSB family and we thank him for the great times we had together. We will always remember the party-trips to Athens, the nude photo shoot in front of the frozen waterfall in Iceland or the soccer match in Brazil. No need to say that we wish Patrick all the best for his final year at university and the new horizons he’s gonna conquer."
Patricks statement:
“The decision was not an easy one, but I simply don’t have the time a band like HSB needs. I’m about to get my university degree and decided to invest all my energy in my studies. Furthermore personal reasons, that I rather don’t go in too deeply, were part of the decision making progress.

After much consideration Sander v/d Thillart and the remaining members of the Dutch dark rock band THE SATURNINE have decided that it was time to go their own seperate ways. Vocalist Sander had to give up his vocal duties back in the summer of 2005 already due to several medical complications that restricted him from performing with the band on stage and in the studio. The band decided to wait for a full recovery, and in the meantime they had help from novAct's vocalist Eddy Borremans to fulfil all performance duties.

The rumour that Tobias committed suicide is not true of course. Obviously somebody out there made a joke.
Tobias is alive and well: “Wow, you turn your computer on, surf the internet and find out that you’re dead before you even realize it yourself. I just felt a little cold and wondered why people around seemed to not pay attention to me anymore. But I’d never thought in a million years that it’s THAT serious. However, I am alive and well and it’s only the second time this year that people think I’m dead. If I had died I would let you know, don’t worry. See you on tour!"
After releasing their next full length album »Rocket Ride« on January 20, Edguy will embark on a concert trek aptly titled the "Rocket Ride World Tour".
