NUMB comeback on split EPCD DIVE vs. DISKONNEKTED : Frozen EPCD (2006) (incl. remixes by Numb, Combichrist, Leaether Strip, ...)DIVE vs. DISKONNEKTED is a clash of generations… a clash of sounds. Fascinated by the intricate production skill and strong electronic arrangements by the young and talented Belgian artist Jan Dewulf (DISKONNEKTED), Dirk Ivens invited him to collaborate on a conceptual EP. Through his work with KLINIK, DIVE and SONAR, Dirk Ivens is renown as one of the few prominent figures from the Belgian EBM/industrial scene next to FRONT 242 and NEON JUDGEMENT. This challenging collaboration results in a striking 8-track “Frozen” EP giving a modern twist to dark and distorted tracks haunted by Dirk Ivens' cold and shivering vocals. Armed with two guaranteed instant club-hits: “Frozen” and “Do You Believe It”, DIVE vs. DISKONNEKTED is ready to blast its icy assault on the world's underground dancefloors. And the duo is backed in their attack by prestigious remixers like LEAETHER STRIP, NUMB, COMBICHRIST and rising label mates INURE. Another perfect demonstration of what top quality electronic music “made in Belgium” means… Play it loud!

Christofer Johnsson, founder, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist for the symphonic Swedish group THERION, has announced that he will be retiring from vocal duties. "The reasons for this are two: My voice is getting weaker over the years. The problem isn't only getting older, but rather that we basically never rehearse as a band. The second reason is that we would like to stop playing old songs, anyway. The ProgPower festival in England will be the final show where I do vocals on stage. We will not be on stage again until 2007. I have planned a special surprise for this festival (not even the other band members know it), so don't miss this festival if you live in the U.K.!"Source: Newsletter
