The previously announced Steril Best Of release "400 Years of Electronic Music" is on schedule and shaping up to be one of this Winter's best releases for Canada's Artoffact Records. The special edition will be released worldwide on Artoffact Records on December 6th, 2005 and contains 13 of Steril's best masterpieces spanning four albums including the hits "Egoist", "Deep", and "I Get Closer", as well as long out of print material. As a select bonus, the CD features two different interchangeable cover arts. Steril will play a launch concert for the CD on December 2nd at Event X in Oldenburg, Germany.Source: Newsletter

November 21st will see the re-release of Collide's debut album "Beneath the Skin". Over the past years there was much request for this debut that was originally released on Off Beat years ago. You may expect dreamy poetic lyrics, distorted, swirling melodies, and angelic female vocals. This CD also has 2 remixes: one by Christ Analogue that is sure to please any industrial club-goer, and one by cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy that shows off his trademark mastery of electronics. Reports are coming in, sketchy at best, but here's what we know:They're busy in the studio, and Jean-Luc De Meyer of Front242 will be a guest singer on an FLA song!! They're also working out booking a European tour possibly as early as next spring. Some cities in Russia and Germany were named, but nothing is conclusive yet.
The Front Line album should be finished in January and be out in March. A North American tour with Covenant might happen in March and April of 2006. (this depends on FLA's and Covenant's next album releasedates). Festivals in Europe would be in August, M'era Luna Festival appearance is pretty safe already.
The new Delerium album is another half year off at least, possibly late summer.

2005
First of all we have to send out a big THANK YOU to all of the people who were coming to Metallic Noise Festival 2005 as visitors, helpers or performers. We think that in 2005 the fest had a real open air character the first time without loosing its special atmosphere. Please be patient concerning pictures and reports. We have a bunch of material waiting to be seen through and have to change the homepage a bit. But this will happen definitively the next weeks.
2006 BACK TO THE ROOTS TO ERBSTETTEN
This years edition of the MNF has just passed and we already have some really important news for you concerning 2006. The most important is that we will change the location. Some of you might say - again ??? YES, because we will come back to the place where everything started in the years 1998-2000. Already in 1999 the festival was happening as an open air event at the fairground of the village and that is where we will return for 2006. So you really can say we will get back to our roots.
