Morrissey set to release new album in March 2006
We just got the news that Morrissey, the now crooner and former voice of The Smiths, is releasing the follow-up to 2004's You are the Quarry. The new album, possibly titled Ringleader of the Tormentors, is set for release in March 2006. The, as of yet, untitled first single is set to hit the stores in February 2006.

Hello !Zeraphine Radio is moving! We're moving from our broadcaster OKB to the independent internet radio 'recordcaster.de'. The advantage is, that now everyone with internet access can listen to our radio show live, not only people from Berlin, hosted by a special cable provider. Don't worry if you miss a show, there will be several repeats. The recordcaster live stream can handle enough people at a time, so that the old OKB- problem should be history.
There are several reasons for our move. We were missing the character of a live radio show, because most of you could only download the show later. That was not 'real', somehow. It would have been the same if we recorded the show in our living room and then upload it to our website.
On the other hand we can't provide a download of the show in the future. The GEMA (comparable with BIEN in the UK) has tightened its requirements extremely concerning music on the web and the charges are very high (the fines are unbelievable). So our concept (live show on OKB + download) makes no sense anymore.

Hello there,Well, we're sure you've all been out and bought the album by now. We hope that you are enjoying it ! For those of who have bought it, you have contributed to a Number 1 album in 16 countries and Top 20 in a further 8, including Top 10s in the UK and USA!! The album is Platinum status in Germany, with Gold in the UK and France amongst others. Well done and thanks to everyone.
So, the world tour has finally started following the cancellation of Wednesday night's Fort Lauderdale show due to post Hurricane safety issues. However, a gathering of approximately 600 lucky people saw the band play an intimate show in New York last Friday to rapturous reception, with a set based on the new album and some classic catalogue. We won't spoil any surprises for you, except to say the band were on great form, the new material sounds like classic Depeche and a great time was had by all. Many congratulations to DM Receiver subscriber Mr Anthony Upham & companion who won tickets to the show from this database, glad you enjoyed it!

Leaves Eyes, the new band formed by singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of Atrocity (who are fronted by Liv's husband Alexander Krull), have to cancel the upcoming shows. They appologize for the fact that they can't do more gigs.Statement on the official website of Leaves Eyes:
,, The last couple of weeks have made a lot of fun besides several stresses and strains. The shows just have been fantastic and we have met a lot of new people and friends. Of course we want to say a big thank you to all the fans that have celebrated with us!! We also want to thank the bands which we played with and our crew. But we also want to let you know some things that happened: After our accident in Detroit, there have been several U.S. shows that we couldn't play or rather have been cancelled. This was beyond our discretion as well as the disastrous organization of the whole tour itself which was starkly in opposite to the great responses from the audience!! We want to apologize for all the people who came for nothing even though it wasn't our own fault!!!!! We also want to say sorry for all the people who came to the show in Bochum that we played a shortened set after a twelve-hour-drive. A full closure of the highway was the reason and then we unfortunately couldn't play any longer than one hour due to a strict curfew and a longer change-over.
Metal Female Voices festival in Wieze/Belgium has been a wonderful night, thousands of fans embraced all bands!!! Our first dates on the tour with SUBWAY TO SALLY have been gorgeous. We want to say another big 'Thank You' to SUBWAY TO SALLY and crew with whom we are going on tour in December again!! It was a very cool first trip with you guys and we are looking forward to the second part!!"
Leaves Eyes are currently touring in support of their sophomore album, "Vinland Saga", which was released in May via Napalm Records.
