The UK electroclash act Ladytron have revealed the details of their forthcoming album "Velocifero". The band's 4th studio album is due out in the US on June 3, and will contain 13 tracks. The follow-up to 2005's "Witching Hour" was recorded in Paris, with the band handling production duties themselves alongside Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails) and Vicarious Bliss (Justice, DJ Mehdi). On April 18 arrives the 4th Patenbrigade: Wolff release: "Demokratischer Sektor". The albm is a retrospective release and sums up the last 4 years of the Berlin duo 'Brigadier' Sven Wolff and 'Brigadeleiter' Lance Murdock, a kind of Best Of including all recent singles. Besides new songs like "Stalinallee" and "Schusswechsel" there are also exclusive remixes by KiEW and Absurd Minds. A joint-venture of a very special kind shall bring a fresh wind into the metal scene: The labels SPV and Wacken Records announce the immediate collaboration marketing, promotion and worldwide distribution. Wacken Records (Formerly known under the name Armageddon Music) will be integrated into the SPV system, but will remain an independent corporation, that will benefit from the international contacts and the long-standing experiences of its partner.
