Gothic Festival 2007

The GOTHIC festival 2007 will be the second edition of this festival! After serious consideration and concentration it will be organised again. The first edition (2006) that was organised in collaboration with Purple Moon was a success and a cosy festival without any troubles. The promoters thank once more all people present and the staff for their support and all the positive reactions that we received afterwards.

Vocaliste Tarja Turunen has written a message on her official website http://www.tarjaturunen.com/. She reveals more news about her upcoming solo album. This is the first solo record after the break with NIGHTWISH. "Hello People!
With renewed energy after some holidays I am 100 % working in the new album at the moment. I have now a very difficult task ahead: to decide only a bunch of songs that will make it to the final album. With so many excellent songs I have to choose from, it won't be so easy. Maybe we should consider doing a double album …

Ex-TRISTANIA vocalist VIBEKE STENE: I am not the new singer in NIGHTWISHNorwegian singer Vibeke Stene (ex-TRISTANIA) has shot down reports that she has joined NIGHTWISH as the replacement for Tarja Turunen. Finland's biggest tabloid, Ilta-Sanomat, published the rumors that Stene accepted the job as new vocalist for the Finnish symphonic metal band. However, according to Stene, "That is not true. I would not want to sing for NIGHTWISH," she told the Norwegian newspaper VG. Stene believes that it might not be a coincidence that the rumors have surfaced around the time of the release of the new TRISTANIA album.

we are still working on pre-production for the album, so there is nothing special to announce beside that we've decided to start drum recordings with Mikko beginning of March. Its still too early to know release date as there is many open issues especially regarding guest-artists... Anyhow, band is in great mood, motivated and working hard so we should end up with really great album!
