On 15th September, the new material of the duo SLAVE REPUBLIC will be released via Accession Records. Alec Fu and Alex Alice characterize their new songs as Synth-Wave-Noir. ‘Songs for Sinners’ was created in the aftermath of the much-respected 2013 album ‘Quest for Love’ and subsequent tour with DIORAMA and festival performances (among others Blackfield-Festival). SLAVE REPUBLIC remain true to their gloomy roots, but with the coming album, they introduce new elements into the black community. They combine influences of the Synth-Wave movement, Dance elements and the typical songwriter qualities to their so-called Synth-Wave-Noir.

COPPELIUS, the Sympho-Metal band from Berlin, officially set out about the renewal of their music activity. The first official performance will take place in February 2018 at the Wacken Winter White Nights festival. Last Thursday the good news appeared on the official page on Facebook. The last concert of COPPELIUS was in December 2016, also in the beginning of spring, the band played a few spectacles called 'Coppelius Waits For You'. The rest of the spring, summer and this autumn it's pause period in the band's concert calendar. Wacken Winter White Nights festival, where the group can be seen again, will be held on 23rd - 25th of February, 2018.

It was not easy: it is nearly four years ago that the latest CASPER album so far, ‘Hinterland’, was released. The successor ‘Lang lebe der Tod’ has been postponed, refined and presumably also cursed. Now, however, it is certain that CASPER has snatched the perhaps most difficult phase in his life from a real major work that is different from his previous one - and still at least as good. A triumph.
