Arch Enemy - “As the Stages Burn“ Tour - Support : The Haunted
ARCH ENEMY to the Hellraiser. Although the base of ARCH ENEMY is definitely in Death Metal, it is the sophisticated melodies and the two-part guitar running that determine the sound from the beginning. The band around CARCASS Mastermind Michael Amott was founded in 1996 and has several tours all over the world, several high standard outputs and countless line-up changes. Especially the departure of the front woman Angela Gossow in 2014 caused quite a stir among the fans.

ERDLING are unstoppable. A mere year after the release of the successfully charting debut album (#64 of the German album charts) the hard-working quartet fronted by singer Neill Devin is delivering the explosive successor, aptly titled ‘Supernova’. And like it should be with any effective sequel, the likable gang of lads have cranked everything up to 11 on their second outing. ‘Supernova’ is a harder, darker, more menacing and a great deal more mature version of ERDLING: a hit-monster comprised of anthemic melodies, yet in a constant wrestling match with laconic German-language lyrics, a juggernaut of precise guitar riffing and a thudding machine of rhythm and electronics. - Details

The New Waves Day celebrates its premiere in Oberhausen. On 13 May this year, the atmospheric Turbinenhalle will be host to a one-day festival that will bring the original early 80s Wave & Gothic sound to the stage. Away from the black Schlager and the dark techno, the presented acts have one thing in common: they come from the foundation decade of the black scene or are affected by it.

After 8 years, KLEZ.E released their fourth album ‘Desintegration’ on 13 January 17. An album that takes its starting point in the very same year when not only the Berlin wall fell and the so-called end of the story was called, but also ‘Disintegration’ by THE CURE was released. Siebert, who grew up in the East of the Republic, and has always been inspired by Western New Wave and Post Punk-influenced Pop music, looks back in the echo chamber of the present into the time of the great promises that were already unfulfilled in the reverberation of the toms and the monotonous bass lines disappeared in the Disconebelirvana. They also promise liberation, which in an ideological-critical sense may have always been hollow, but now seem to be more than ever. Logically, KLEZ.E called their fourth album ‘Desintegration’, resolution, decay.- Y-LUK-O - Release video single "Lipstick Lie" on Valentine's Day
