It is not without pride and anticipation that Dependent announces the signing of This Morn' Omina and the release of their forthcoming album "Kundalini Rising" on Dependent. The collaboration between Mika Goedrijk and Karolus Lerocq, who joined the lineup in 2010 has often been hailed as the pioneers of the Tribal Industrial genre. However, the band itself rather labels its music as "Ritual Musik". We were specifically impressed by the concept and the scope of the new album in which the band has both developed and extended their scope of sound, yet made it deeper and a tad darker. We can promise an impressive album for old and new fans alike.

Recently, it has been curiously quiet in the camp of MESH, but Mark Hockings and Rich Silverthorn have worked hard on their new album, the first single and an accompanying video. The track "Kill Your Darlings" comes out on July 8 on CD and limited vinyl. As a first impression of this great song, which the band will also perform at Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany, watch the video teaser HERE. Both, CD and vinyl are available for pre-order as well now! Due to these scheduled releases, we decided to push back the release of MESH’s classical live album recorded at the Gewandhaus Leipzig until winter, but be sure that the band won’t miss a beat up till then.

Legendary rock torchbearers Gov’t Mule will release a new archival album entitled The Tel-Star Sessions on August 5, 2016 via Provogue/Mascot Label Group.

The album consists of the band’s very first, and never-before-released, demos made in June 1994 at Tel-Star Studios in Bradenton, Florida. These newly mixed and mastered recordings feature the original line-up – Warren Haynes, Allen Woody and Matt Abts – and capture the rawness and excitement of the earliest days of Gov’t Mule. What was originally intended to be the band’s debut album, but then subsequently shelved until now, these 10 songs will be available digitally and as a single CD, as well as 180-gram double-vinyl set including a limited edition version with different artwork and splatter vinyl.

LEICHTMATROSE feat. JOACHIM WITT recently released the new anti-war video 'Hier drüben im Graben'. Here's a statement by Andreas Stitz and Joachim Witt on the new video:

"We as artists feel responsible for focussing on the nearly abstract topic “war” again. Maybe it is also for us to bring to mind that war is the worst and most awful crime of humankind. Luckily we grew up in a society where war was either a long time ago or far away. Our ordinary worries that directly affect us are in the foreground. Indeed we feel sorrow and empathy when we see pictures and news from the war zones in the media, but we cannot nearly understand how destructive and cruel it is to be directly affected by war. It was a conscious decision to use uncompromising cruel pictures in the video track to stir people up, to shock – and to cause shame as well because “all of us” are not dealing enough with this topic.
