Swiss superstars of New Wave Of Folk Metal, ELUVEITIE, just revealed the title, cover art and the releasedate for the bands upcoming masterpiece! The new album is called ‘Origins’, and it will be released in just under three months - on August 1st worldwide, August 4th in England, Scotland and Ireland, and on August 5th in North America! The newest members of the Roadrunner Records roster, KING 810 are set to release their 'proem' EP in the UK on 9th June, just prior to their appearance at Download Festival. 'proem' is currently streaming in its entirety on RoadrunnerRecords.com and you can download the track 'Fat Around The Heart' now at KING810.com. This collection preludes the band's full-length debut album set for release in August.The forgotten city of Flint, MI, is where KING 810 call home and it's this dystopian dwelling that sets the backdrop for the band's music and art. With no mayor to preside over the bereft community and a miniscule police force, Flint teaches its young to fend for themselves. 'proem' is an embodiment of KING 810's life within this pressure cooker, a glimpse into the personal account of this disappearing metropolis where tree branches live longer than many of the children do.- Details

Up and coming multicultural blues rockers BLUES PILLS have announced the tracklist for the bands forthcoming self-titled debut album. The ten tracks of 'Blues Pills' will also feature a cover version of the CHUBBY CHECKER classic 'Gypsy'. “It's a song everyone in the band liked and we used to play it on our soundcheck. Slowly it worked itself into our set list, and now it's going to be on our debut album as well. Back in the days lots of bands covered each other to honor the other artist, and they did it with their own touch on it. Some examples are, JIMI HENDRIX 'All Along the Watchtower', JANIS JOPLIN 'Tell Mama', 'Summertime' and 'Ball and Chain', or JOE COCKER 'With a Little Help From My Friends', everyone was doing it with the right reason. For us, we want to honor CHUBBY CHECKER and also bring it back to life by doing the cover version the BLUES PILLS way.
